Before Star Scooping, I spent years leading analytics teams inside big corporate offices — lots of spreadsheets, lots of meetings, not a lot of dirt under my fingernails. I wanted to build something of my own instead: something local, something hands-on, something that made an obvious, immediate difference for the people around me.
Dog poop removal wasn't the plan from day one — loving dogs was. That's Willow, my border collie and the inspiration behind our logo. Somewhere between walking her every day and hearing neighbors complain about their own yards, Star Scooping was born.
